Hello

My name is Nike Majekodunmi.  I’m really excited to have set up this blog which is all about Lifestyle Inspiration for Today’s Woman.  As a wife, mum, friend, business owner etc. I find that I wear many hats and have worn many hats in the past.  So I thought to share some of my stories and generally what makes me ‘ME’ from the various influences that I have.

I would first of all like to say that this blog in no-way makes me an authority in life on any subject in particular.  Nor do I want you to take anything I write about as Gospel.  It is simply my own interpretation and my own view of life.

So, where did it all begin?  Growing up with 2 brothers and no sister, one would assume that I became a bit of a tom-boy…..WRONG! Very far from it.  I am the girl who asks you to use a coaster and not put the bottle directly on the table.  The girl who believes strongly in ‘dress as you wish to be addressed’, and I am also the girl who set up a bakery to include all things sugary and pretty.  And if you have seen my company logo, Nuts About Cakes, you will see that I love lots of colour and I dance on the quirky side of life.

A little bit more about my personal life…I have been married for 10 years to my best friend whom I fell in love with at first site.  (I’ll fill you in on the story another day).  We have 3 beautiful children who amaze me every time I look at them.  I am also a business woman, and the CEO of a Bakery and Café chain, Nuts About Cakes, which I set up over 10 years ago.  Since, then I have set up other businesses as well as coached other business owners to grow their own enterprises.

Back to the Blog.  I will be sharing lots of Lifestyle inspiration in areas of Women’s Health, Home design and improvement, Travel, Beauty and Style, Food and lots of great recipes, Kids and all that comes with them, and lots of inspiring books.  I promise it will be a place of great resource for you to draw from and learn from.

I would also like to encourage you to follow me on Instagram as I will be sharing more regularly on this channel.  Instagram will be a great source for sharing current ideas and situations and most especially showing you live examples of where you can get all the products and ideas that Inspire you.
